What it costs
Pay only for the space you use
One TV is a single-item pickup ($119). Flat screens have no extra fee; tube (CRT) TVs and monitors add a $35 recycling fee each. A room of electronics, like a TV, its stand, a computer and speakers, usually fits in a quarter trailer (from $259).
Tube (CRT) TVs and monitors: +$35 each for leaded-glass recycling. Flat screens: no extra fee.
Every price includes labor and loading from anywhere on the property, hauling, disposal and a sweep-up. Your on-site quote is the most you'll pay. If it packs tighter than we estimated, the price goes down.

- Tube TVs and monitors contain leaded glass, which is why they carry a $35 recycling fee.
- Working TVs and computers in good shape are donated whenever possible.

Recycling it yourself?
Most curbside bulk pickup won't take electronics. Texas law requires TV and computer makers to offer recycling for their brands (search TexasRecyclesTVs.org and TexasRecyclesComputers.org), and the cities we serve offer residents these options:

Curbside bulky pickup won't take electronics, but the city's landfill and transfer stations accept them free from Dallas residents.
- Mesquite
The Citizens Convenience & Recycling Center at 3550 Lawson Rd takes TVs, computers and other electronics from residents. Mesquite Recycles Day runs twice a year.
- Rowlett
Keep Rowlett Beautiful holds recycle events twice a year that take electronics.
- Garland
The Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center, 11234 Plano Rd, takes small electronics free for residents.
- Richardson
The Lookout Transfer Station doesn't take electronics; the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center takes small electronics.
- Sachse
CWD X-Treme Green events at Heritage Park, twice a year for Sachse residents, take electronics.
- Wylie
X-Treme Green events, twice a year at 949 Hensley Ln, take electronics from residents inside city limits.
- Murphy
Community Clean & Green, the second Saturday of April and October, takes electronics.
- Plano
Monthly electronics recycling events at local churches, with small fees for TVs and monitors.
- Rockwall
HHW Solutions front-porch pickup takes electronics. Request it by Monday night for Wednesday.
- Heath
Curbside bulk pickup won't take electronics; HHW Solutions front-porch pickup takes small electronics.
Best Buy recycles many electronics too. Its Haul Away and Recycle service picks up to 2 large items (like TVs) plus smaller electronics for $199.99, as long as they're already disconnected and unmounted.

Is there a fee for TVs?
Flat-screen TVs have no extra fee; they're priced like any other item. Tube (CRT) TVs and monitors carry a $35 recycling fee each, because the leaded glass has to be handled separately.
How much does TV removal cost?
One TV is a single-item pickup, from $119 plus tax, plus $35 if it's a tube TV. Several items are priced by the space they take; a room of electronics usually fits in a quarter trailer (from $259).
Do you wipe hard drives?
No. Back up and wipe phones, computers and anything else that stores data before we come, or remove the drive. Once items leave with us, we can't guarantee what happens to information left on them.
Can you take down a wall-mounted TV?
Tell us when you book, so we can plan for it before the visit.
Can I put a TV out with bulk trash?
Often not. Dallas and Heath, for example, don't take electronics at the curb. The list on this page shows drop-off options in each city we serve.
Do you take entertainment centers too?
Yes. The TV stand, entertainment center and speakers can all go in the same visit, priced by the space they take.
