Community Waste Disposal (CWD) picks up bulky items and brush every week on your trash day, with no call needed. The limit is 4 cubic yards of bulk and loose brush per pickup; tied and bundled brush has no limit.

Set it out where you put your trash, by 7 a.m. on pickup day and no more than 12 hours ahead.
No single item over 150 pounds. Loose debris has to be bagged or boxed, no bigger than 2 × 2 × 4 feet and 50 pounds.
Refrigerators and freezers are taken only if tagged to certify the refrigerant was removed.
Over 4 yards, CWD gives free estimates for a paid special pickup.

Forney nearly doubled in five years, from about 23,500 people at the 2020 census to an estimated 41,700 in 2025, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. CWD door-side HHW collection

Monthly, on the first Wednesday. Call CWD at 972-392-9300 (option 2) by the 15th of the month before, and they'll mail you a collection kit. Takes paint, solvents, aerosols, motor oil, car batteries, fluorescent tubes and TVs.
