Richardson's BABIC pickup
Richardson's own crews run Brush and Bulky Item Collection (BABIC). You have to request a pickup by midnight the night before your collection day, through the MyRichardson app, online or by calling 972-744-4111.
- Items go out by 7 a.m., in the grassy strip between the sidewalk and street.
- The city asks residents to keep it to about 8 requests a year, and BABIC is meant for items over 50 pounds.
- Setting items out without a request gets a warning, then a citation.
- For big do-it-yourself projects, the city also rents roll-off bins.
