What it costs
Pay only for the space you use
We price storage units by how much space the contents take up in our trailer, not by the unit's size. A tightly packed 10×10 can fill a whole trailer; a half-empty one may be a quarter load.
Every price includes labor and loading from anywhere on the property, hauling, disposal and a sweep-up. Your on-site quote is the most you'll pay. If it packs tighter than we estimated, the price goes down.

How we do it

Book and arrange access
Pick a time when the gate is open, and tell us the facility, unit number and access rules.

Firm price at the unit
We look at what is inside and price it by the space it takes in our trailer. That’s the most you’ll pay.

Empty and sweep
We load everything that is going and sweep the unit, so you can hand it back and end the lease.
Before we come
- Check the facility’s rules for outside help. Some want you there; others let you share a gate code or add us to your access list.
- Bring your key. If it’s lost, ask the facility how they handle locks before our visit.
- Check gate hours, and whether a truck and trailer can reach your unit.
- Decide what goes home with you. We haul everything else.
- Leave paint, fuel and chemicals out of it. We can't haul them.
Where it goes
- Furniture and household goods in good shape go to local donation centers whenever possible.
- Metal and electronics go to recyclers.
- Damaged items and everything else go to the landfill. Nothing is left at the facility.
Storage unit cleanouts: common questions
Do I need to meet you at the storage facility?
Usually, yes, or arrange gate access and unit access for us. Facility rules vary, so check with them. We'll work with whatever they require.
How do you price a storage unit?
By the space the contents take up in our 16-yard trailer, the same way we price every job. You get a firm price before we start.
Can I keep some things?
Yes. Point out what stays in the unit or goes home with you, and we'll haul the rest.
Will you leave the unit clean?
Yes. We sweep it out so it is ready to hand back.
The facility won't let me use their dumpster. Can you take it all?
Yes. We haul everything off the property, so nothing is left behind at the facility.
I inherited a unit, or I live out of town. Can you do it without me?
Often, yes, if the facility allows it. Get us access through the facility, confirm the price with us by phone or text, and we'll send photos when it's empty.
