Texas Junk Crew is the business name of Junk Crew LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Rowlett, Texas (“Texas Junk Crew,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit texasjunkcrew.com, contact us, or hire us, and how we use, share and protect it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote, call, text, email or book a job, we collect what you share with us, such as your name, phone number, email address, service address, photos and descriptions of the items, access details (gate codes, stairs, parking), preferred dates, how you heard about us, and any messages you send.

Job and payment records

We keep records of quotes, jobs, invoices, payments and job notes. Card and bank payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card or bank account number.

Calls and texts

When you call or text us, our phone and texting providers record details such as your phone number, the date, time and length of calls, and the content of texts. Calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We may also use analytics, advertising and call-tracking tools, described under Cookies, analytics and ads below.

Information from others

If you find us through a service such as Google, or someone refers you to us (for example a realtor, property manager, contractor or friend), we may receive your name, contact details and message from them.

How we use your information

• To respond to you and give you a quote
• To schedule, perform and follow up on your job, including reminders and arrival updates
• To send invoices and receipts, take payment, and keep business, tax and accounting records
• To answer questions and resolve any problems or disputes about a job
• To ask for a review after your job
• To send you occasional offers, but only if you have agreed to receive them
• To improve our website and see which ads bring us customers
• To protect our business and customers, and to follow the law

Job photos

We take before-and-after photos on jobs to document the work and to protect you and us if a question comes up later. We may use some of these photos on our website, Google and social media to show our work. When we do, we don't show house numbers, street signs, license plates, people's faces, or personal papers and mail, and we never publish your name or address with a photo without your permission. If you'd like a photo of your job taken down, email us and we will remove it from anything we control.

Items we haul away

Please remove personal papers and photos, and erase phones, computers and other devices, before we haul them away. Once items leave with us they may be donated, recycled or taken to a disposal site, and we can't guarantee what happens to information left on or in them.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number (for example when you request a quote or book a job) or you text us first, we may text you about your request and job: quotes, scheduling, reminders, arrival updates, invoices, receipts, follow-up and review requests.

We send promotional texts, such as seasonal offers, only if you have separately agreed to receive them. Agreeing to promotional texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by calling or emailing us. Full details are in our Terms of Service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that send our texts and run our scheduling software, and only so they can provide those services to us. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give or sell customer lists to anyone. We share information only in these situations:

• Service providers that help us run the business, such as our scheduling, quoting and invoicing software, payment processor, accounting software, email provider, phone, texting and call-tracking providers, website host, analytics and advertising tools, and review-request service. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Our crew members see the job details they need to do your job, such as your name, address and job notes.
• People you work with on a job. If a realtor, property manager or contractor arranges or pays for a job, we may share job details, photos and invoices with them.
• Legal reasons. If the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our crew or our business.
• Business changes. If our business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who must follow this policy for that information.

We don't ask for sensitive information such as health details or government ID numbers, and we never sell any personal data.

Cookies, analytics and ads

We may use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads that use cookies and similar technology to understand how visitors use our site and which ads bring customers to us. Google may combine this with other information it has. You can learn how Google uses this information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

To see which ads and websites bring us customers, our site notes where you came from (for example, the ad you clicked, the search engine or the website that linked to us) and the first page you viewed. This is kept in your own browser for up to 90 days, and if you request a quote it's saved with your request.

When you book or request a quote on our website, we may also send your email address and phone number to Google in a scrambled (hashed) form, so Google can match your request to an ad click and tell us whether our ads are working.

We may also use call tracking, which shows a different phone number depending on how you found us, so we can tell which ads work. It records call details such as the time, length and calling number.

Your choices:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• Manage personalized Google ads at My Ad Center.
• Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. There is no common standard for these, so our site doesn't respond to them, but you can use the choices above.

How we protect your information

We use established business software providers with industry-standard security, limit access to the people who need it to do their jobs, and use secure (HTTPS) connections on our website. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Job, invoice and payment records are usually kept for at least four years for tax purposes. After that, we delete information or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you
• Correct information that's wrong
• Delete your information, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices and tax records
• Stop sending you texts or emails

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Other websites

Our site may link to other websites, such as Google or social media. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we'll note it on this page.
