Before we come
- Take out anything you're keeping. The rest can stay inside and go with the shed.
- Pull out paint, gas cans, chemicals, propane tanks and car batteries. We can't haul them.
- If the shed has power, have a licensed electrician disconnect it first. We don't do electrical work.
- Mark any sprinkler lines, cables or gas lines near the shed, and check with your HOA or city about a permit.
What it costs
Priced on site, before we start
Metal and resin sheds start at $299, taken apart, hauled off and cleaned up. Wood sheds vary too much by size and build (the floor, the roof, the siding) for one number, so we price them on site. If a lot is stored inside, it's included in your firm price.
Every price includes labor and loading from anywhere on the property, hauling, disposal and a sweep-up. Your on-site quote is the most you'll pay. If it packs tighter than we estimated, the price goes down.

A metal or resin shed, taken apart and hauled off. Wood sheds are priced on site. You get a firm price before we start, and that's the most you'll pay.

We look at the shed, what's inside and the path to the trailer, and give you one firm price.

We load whatever's inside that's going, then take the shed apart.

Hauled off
Walls, roof, floor and contents all go in the trailer.

Cleaned up
We clean up the debris and leave the spot ready for what's next.
Where it goes
- Metal sheds and metal parts go to a scrap-metal recycler whenever possible.
- Wood, resin panels and shingles go to a landfill that accepts construction debris.
- Usable things from inside are donated whenever possible. The rest is sorted like any other load.
Local rules
What the city will and won't take
Curbside pickup around here isn't built for a whole shed. Here's what the cities we serve say:
- Richardson
Sheds and other buildings aren't collected at BABIC pickup.
- Plano
Sheds, roofing and contractor waste aren't taken at bulky pickup.
- Rockwall
Construction and remodeling waste isn't taken, and neither are fence posts set in concrete.
- Heath
Home-project debris is limited to 1 cubic yard per pickup day. Roofing and contractor demolition debris aren't taken.
- Garland
Debris from your own project can go out only four times a calendar year, and roofing isn't taken.
- Rowlett
Up to 2 cubic yards a week, and contractors have to haul off their own debris.
- Dallas
Construction and demolition debris, roofing and shingles aren't taken.
- Wylie
Construction and remodeling debris isn't taken.
Tearing it down yourself? The C.M. Hinton Jr. Regional Landfill at 3175 Elm Grove Rd in Rowlett takes public loads by the ton, weekdays 7 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 7 a.m.–3 p.m.

Shed removal: common questions
Do you remove the concrete pad under a shed?
Shed removal covers the shed itself. If there's a concrete pad or footings to remove, tell us and we'll quote that separately.
Can you haul away what's inside the shed too?
Yes. Leave anything that's going, and we'll load it with the shed. It's all part of the same firm price.
What can't you take from a shed?
Paint (liquid or dried), gas cans and other fuels, chemicals, pesticides, propane tanks and car batteries. Set them aside for your city's household hazardous waste program.
How much does shed removal cost?
Metal and resin sheds start at $299 plus sales tax. Wood sheds are priced on site, because the size, floor, roof and how it's built change the work a lot. Either way, you get one firm price before we start. Text us a photo for a ballpark first.
Do I need a permit to take down a shed?
Rules vary by city and HOA, so check with yours before we schedule. We're happy to help you figure out what to ask.
What about older sheds and asbestos?
We can't remove materials that contain asbestos. Some older sheds and siding may need to be tested first.
