What it costs
Pay only for the space you use
One treadmill or elliptical is a single-item pickup ($119). A home gym with a bench, a rack and weights usually fits in a quarter trailer (from $259).
Every price includes labor and loading from anywhere on the property, hauling, disposal and a sweep-up. Your on-site quote is the most you'll pay. If it packs tighter than we estimated, the price goes down.

Book online and pick an arrival window, or text a photo of the machine for a ballpark price first.

We look at the machine and the path out, and give you a price before we lift anything.

Out in one piece or several
If it won't fit through a door or down the stairs, we take it apart. Then we carry it out, load it and sweep up where it sat.
Where it goes
- Working machines in good shape are donated whenever possible.
- Steel frames, weights and motors go to a scrap-metal recycler whenever possible.
- Broken plastic housings, belts and padding go to the landfill.
Local rules
Can the city pick up a treadmill?
Maybe not in one piece. A home treadmill can weigh anywhere from about 100 to more than 300 pounds, and some cities cap how heavy a single item can be. Here are the rules for the cities we serve:
- Rowlett
Republic asks that single items weigh no more than 50 pounds.
- Garland
Crews won't collect individual items over 40 pounds.
- Wylie
Single items are capped at 150 pounds, and pickup is once a month.
- Richardson
BABIC is meant for items over 50 pounds, but you have to request it by midnight the night before.
- Mesquite
Weekly, up to 8 cubic yards. Out no earlier than 24 hours before pickup.
- Murphy
Weekly, up to 4 cubic yards, next to your carts by 7 a.m.
- Rockwall
Twice a month, up to 6 cubic yards, during your zone's scheduled week.
- Dallas
Once a month, for houses and duplexes only.
- Plano
Once a month, on your zone's bulky day, in a pile up to 6 × 4 × 4 feet.

How much does treadmill removal cost?
One treadmill is a single-item pickup, from $119 plus tax. A whole home gym is priced by the space it takes; a bench, a rack and weights usually fit in a quarter trailer (from $259).
Is there an extra fee for heavy equipment?
No. Taking it apart, stairs and heavy lifting are all included. The only items that add a fee are refrigerators, freezers and A/C units, tube TVs and tires.
Do I need to take it apart first?
No, and please don't: treadmill decks and frames can pinch or fall. If it won't fit through the door, we take it apart on site.
Will Best Buy haul away my old treadmill?
Best Buy's Haul Away and Recycle service doesn't take fitness equipment. If you're buying a new machine, ask that store whether it takes the old one.
Can you take weights and dumbbells?
Yes. Plates, dumbbells and kettlebells are steel or iron, so they go to a scrap-metal recycler whenever possible.
Will you donate a working treadmill?
Whenever possible. Donation centers decide what they accept, so we can't promise a specific machine will be taken.
