What it costs
Pay only for the space you use
A whole house after the move is often a full trailer or more; a few rooms the movers left behind may be a quarter or a half. We walk through and give you a firm price on site.
Every price includes labor and loading from anywhere on the property, hauling, disposal and a sweep-up. Your on-site quote is the most you'll pay. If it packs tighter than we estimated, the price goes down.

Walk through together
With your parent, the family or whoever has access. We give you a firm price before we start.

Set aside
Anything personal we come across, like papers, photos or keepsakes, is set aside for the family.

Sort and haul
Usable furniture and household goods go to donation whenever possible, metal goes to recycling, and the rest is hauled away.

Ready to list
We sweep up and send photos when it's done, so the house is ready for listing photos.
Before we come
- Have the movers take what's going to the new place first, or mark it clearly.
- Let family members take what they want before we come.
- Set aside papers, photos and keepsakes, or tell us what to watch for.
- Set aside paint and chemicals. We can't haul them.
- Can't be there? A family member, realtor or lockbox works.
Where it goes
- Furniture and household goods in good shape go to local donation centers whenever possible.
- Hospital beds, lift chairs and other metal-framed equipment are recycled whenever possible.
- Appliances and electronics go to recyclers. Everything else goes to the landfill.
Senior downsizing cleanouts: common questions
Can you work with a senior move manager or realtor?
Yes. We can take direction from whoever is running the move and work around the moving truck and the listing date.
Do you move furniture to the new home?
No. We're a junk removal company, so we haul away what isn't going. For the move itself, you'll want a moving company.
Can my parent be there while you work?
Of course. We go at their pace and set aside anything they want to look at before it goes.
Do you take hospital beds and lift chairs?
Yes. Equipment like hospital beds, lift chairs, walkers and shower chairs is fine. We can't take needles, sharps or medical waste.
What if something valuable turns up?
We set aside anything that looks personal or valuable, like papers, photos, cash or jewelry, for the family.
How soon can you come after the movers?
Online booking starts the next business day. If the closing date is tight, call or text and we'll fit you in as soon as the schedule allows.
