- Strip the sheets, pads and pillows you want to keep.
- Bed bugs? The mattress has to be fully sealed in plastic before we arrive. Mattress bags are sold at hardware and moving-supply stores.
- Leave it in the bedroom. You don't need to carry it down or out.
- Unplug adjustable bases.

Pay only for the space you use
One mattress is a single-item pickup. A whole bedroom set, like a queen bed, a dresser and a nightstand, is usually about a quarter trailer (from $259).
Every price includes labor and loading from anywhere on the property, hauling, disposal and a sweep-up. Your on-site quote is the most you'll pay. If it packs tighter than we estimated, the price goes down.

Book online in about a minute and pick your arrival window. Add the bed frame or old dresser while we're coming anyway.

We carry it out from the bedroom, load it, and sweep up where it was.
Where it goes
- Most used mattresses go to the landfill. Donation centers around here generally won't take them: the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore doesn't accept mattresses or box springs, the Garland ReStore takes new mattresses only, and Rockwall's Helping Hands thrift store doesn't take older ones.
- Metal bed frames are recycled whenever possible.
Local rules
Will the city take my mattress?
Some cities pick up mattresses with bulk trash, as long as they're at the curb on time. Here's the short version for the cities we serve.
- Rowlett
Weekly, up to 2 cubic yards. A mattress and box spring together are about 2 cubic yards, the whole weekly limit.
- Garland
Weekly bulky pickup takes mattresses. Set them out no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before, at the front curb.
- Heath
Free weekly pickup for mattresses and box springs on trash day. Out by 7 a.m.
- Sachse
Once a month, up to 6 cubic yards, out no earlier than 48 hours before pickup.
- Rockwall
Twice a month, up to 6 cubic yards, during your zone's scheduled week. Out by 7 a.m. that Monday.
- Wylie
Once a month, on a Saturday, up to 4 cubic yards. Nothing out before the Friday before.
- Murphy
Weekly, up to 4 cubic yards, next to your carts by 7 a.m.
- Richardson
Request a BABIC pickup by midnight the night before your collection day.
- Mesquite
Weekly. Out no earlier than 24 hours before pickup, or the city adds a fee.
- Dallas
Once a month, for houses and duplexes only, so apartment residents can't use it. Early set-out can bring a fine of at least $150.
- Plano
Once a month, on your zone's bulky day, set out no earlier than 5 days before.

Mattress removal: common questions
Is there an extra fee for mattresses?
No. Mattresses and box springs are priced like everything else, by the space they take in the trailer. There is no disposal surcharge.
Do you take mattresses with bed bugs?
Yes, if the mattress is completely sealed in plastic before we arrive. That protects your home on the way out, our trailer, and the next customer's things. Mattress bags are sold at hardware and moving-supply stores.

Will you take the bed frame too?
